Pat Millar is the National Public Rescue Equipment Officer at Surf Life Saving New Zealand. Originally from Pupuke near Kaeo, she started her career as a nurse in Whangarei and then worked in corporate London for 18 years. After returning to Mangonui in New Zealand's Far North, she held various medical roles.
