National Manager Local Government Risk Practice Group, Aon

Matthew Wilson is the National Manager for Aon New Zealand’s Local Government Risk Practice Group, based in Hamilton. He leads a nationwide team of risk and insurance advisors, specialising in corporate broking within the local government sector.

Matthew oversees the insurance programme and design for local and international markets, including New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, London, and Bermuda, in collaboration with Aon’s Global Broking Centre in London.

With nearly 40 years of experience in insurance broking in both the UK and NZ, Matthew brings expertise in managing large corporate placements and developing insurance strategies for the local government sector.
