Before joining Chapman Tripp, Kate was Head of Climate Action at the Sustainable Business Council, representing over 150 of New Zealand’s largest companies on climate policy and strategy. She led their response to the first National Adaptation Plan. Kate's previous roles include international lawyer, diplomat, climate change negotiator, and Private Secretary to the Minister of Climate Change.
